ICT Manager

Key Performance Areas:

The primary function of the ICT Manager would be to provide technical ICT leadership to an enterprise that is experiencing a growing digital footprint. 

The successful candidate will lead a team of Technical specialists, System analysts, Network Engineers and Support Analysts. He / She will manage key initiatives and prioritised projects. The jobholder will assist in shaping and delivering Woodlands Dairy’s digital roadmap. Integration of Industrial and ICT network to ensure economies of scale and redundancy opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for Architecture, Solution Design, Analysis and implementation of new technologies. The successful candidate will be required to have a close collaboration with stakeholders (CIO and other EXCO members) to ensure that all technology implementations and changes are aligned with the ICT strategy. The successful incumbent will manage the ICT budget (Manager Scope of control or delegation), manage IT Infrastructure environment and Application Roadmap Development.

Knowledge and Skills:

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent degree/diploma in Information Technology/ICT Networks. The successful candidate will have 6-8 years’ experience with managing and leading operations, implementation and technical delivery teams. The jobholder will have 10+ years’ with various ICT infrastructure environments, preferably large and medium sized organizations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing service providers, especially where infrastructure is hosted. Sound track record with SAAS, PAAS and IAAS.

The successful candidate will have FMCG experience, from an infrastructure, solution implementations and support perspective. The incumbent must be comfortable with engaging / presenting to EXCO when required. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Networking (CISCO switches), Infrastructure architecture and business partnering experience. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing ERP solutions and have the ability to complete and coordinate RFI/ RFPs. A proven track record with Agile implementations and experience in managing a cost centre, budget planning and forecasts is a must.

The successful incumbent will be a good communicator (written and verbal) and will possess collaboration skills in addition; they will be a self-motivator, driven and ambitious. The successful candidate will lead a young motivated team and be a change embracer and natural innovator.
